Born and raised
in Greenville, SC. I graduated from J.L. Mann High School in 1980 and attended Furman University in the fall and majored in
music. My real estate career began in 1983 in Greenville, SC with ERA Joy Real Estate. After a move to North Myrtle
Beach I began working in vacation and annual rentals. In 1995 I decided to strike out on my own and opened an office
on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. Two years after opening Atlantic Realty & Construction I married Stewart Fowler and moved to Loris, SC, which is about 25 miles off the beach and borders Tabor City, NC.
This is when my life truly began to take shape. Shortly after we married, we moved the office to Loris. Recently
a satellite rental office was added in Little River within the offices of my good friend Pam Bane of Property and Association
Management.
Stewart and I are very proud of our family. Mark, a Captain in the Marine Corp pilots
an Osprey and is currently (6/2010) deployed to Afghanistan making his fourth tour into the desert.
His wife Courtney is a builder and they blessed our family in November of 2009 with Kendall Grace, our first grandchild. Tennille
is a high school history teacher and is the coach of the girl’s track and basketball teams. Her dedication to
family is commendable especially when it comes to taking care of her grandparents. Her husband Timothy is a guard at
a maximum-security prison and also works part time with Stewart on his days off. I enjoy the precious little time
I get to spend with my husband, our families, and our friends. I have dogs and cats, and raise cage free chickens. I
can the vegetables that we grow in our garden and enjoy cooking with them all year. I sing in the choir at Tabor
City Baptist Church. Reading is a favorite pastime but I have little chance to sit down with a book so I am an avid listener
of audio books. Stopping to take in the sights when I travel is something that I do that can be annoying to those traveling
with me that like to “get there”. I fish and hunt when I get a chance. Puzzles and brain games that use the mind are a treat to me and last but not least my blood
runneth orange, Clemson orange that is. GO TIGERS! Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've
never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth.
